The MPSA92 is a high voltage transistor that can switch loads upto 300V with a very low trigger voltage (VBE) of only 5V, and this feature makes it suitable for digital electronics which operates at 5V.
When used as a switch it can drive load of upto -200mA to -500mA thus it can drive many loads in circuits such as relays, LEDs, high power transistors, ICs etc. It can also be used as an audio amplifier separately or in input stages of audio amplifier circuits.
